Yard/Lawn Care at the Saratoga House - Heart Havens

We have success thanks to Front Royal (June) and Strasburg (Oct), we have all months filled - Bless all of you for your support.

We have the following folks/churches/fellowships step forward and adopt (for a month) the Lawncare (Mowing/Trimming) of our Heart Havens' Saratoga Home located in Kernstown; 3050 Saratoga Drive; located directly behind the Mazda/Subaru dealership on Valley Ave ...

April - Reliance UMMMay - Bethel Lutheran
Jun -  Front Royal
July -  First UMC
Aug - Bethany of Purcellville
Sept - Braddock St. UMC
Oct -  Strasburg

A Reminder that mowers/Gasoline are available in the garage but I would recommend (if you need a self-propelled mower) that you bring your own and also your blower and trimmer ... It usually takes 2 people less than an hour to do the complete job ... If there's Staff/Guys in the home; visit them; tour the home; and, they'll probably provide you a cool drink and maybe even "lend a hand"! I know Danny loves to use the blower and clear the driveway and walkways of grass trimmings, for you!

Blessings, Fred Rathel District Heart Havens Coordinator

The DOC is an on-line Magazine
Welcome.  We are glad to have you take a moment and spend a little time with us.

The D.O.C. Magazine is being developed by the Winchester District United Methodist Men as a means to share Christ's saving grace in the Wesleyan tradition. John Wesley's practical theology is as much alive today as it was in his own time.

A true churchman of his day, Mr. Wesley not only advocated for attendance upon all the means of grace, but regular public worship and partaking in the sacraments whenever possible. Mr. Wesley sought after a real faith, his moral teleology was that if you pursue the good, you will be happy and you will be holy.

We hope you will take a few minutes to look through this publication, and as UMM, send us links you would like us to share in this online publication.  Articles and links may be sent to the editor at herb.drake@comcast.net
